The San Luis Obispo County Cattlemens Association is very honored to announce Pedros Ramos has been selected as this years Featured Artist for their 22nd Annual Western Art Show and Sale to be held at the Paso Robles Event Center in California. |

Born in San Sebastian, the Basque region of Northern Spain, Pedro Ramos began drawing and painting at a young age then for over fifteen years worked as an animator in the motion picture industry in prestigious studios in Spain, Paris, London and Los Angeles.
Fascinated by the people, culture and the great land where the history of the Native Americans took place, Pedro is a historical narrative sculptor, specifically focusing on the Plains Tribes, from early 1700s to late 1800s.
Pedro’s sculptures capture crucial moments in Native American History.

Juried shows include the Phippen Museum Western Art Show where in 2009 he received the Cowboy Artist of America Founder’s Award; the Mountain Oyster Club Western Art Show and the National Western Art Exhibit in San Dimas, CA where in 2008 he received the Gold Award (1st place) for sculpture.
